Proud mama moment

I was sitting at my desk this morning doing a bit of work when Monkey joined me at his writing table. He started to do something when all of a sudden he said, "Look!" I turned around to see what he had done, and much to my amazement, it was letters. Yes, letters! I was so shocked and surprised because even though the family has worked on it with him, he seemed to show very little interest. Today, all of this has changed! He's written the letters l, e, n, c, g, p, o, and uh, a few more that are yet to be determined. I could not be more proud of this developemental milestone.

Well, back to listening (at Monkey's request) The Beatles and doing our happy dances!
